Primark & Internacionale haul!

Me and my friend went to Liverpool for the day last week and it was such a good day! I'd never been before and one of the things on my "To Do in 2014" list was to get to explore cities I've never been to and boy was it an adventure! In total we were there for 24 hours, I had 1 hours sleep, we went shopping, on the ferris wheel, on a ferry across the Mersey and I spent the hours of 9pm-6:30am in bars/clubs and I met some really lovely people and ahhhh it was just one of those times I never wanted to end, so many memories were made in just 24 hours and it was well worth the hotel money (even if I only slept in my bed for an hour) and coach money. I can't wait to go back and go and explore other cities too! If you've not been to Liverpool before I highly recommend it, it's such a picturesque, cute city and if like me you love the accent you'll even enjoy chatting to cashiers and the staff in Costa! :)
Anyway, I thought I'd show you the bits and pieces I picked up whilst wondering around the wonderful shops in Liverpool!
From Internacionale I picked up these two hair pieces. The one on the left is to go around a bun and the one on the right is a scrunchie. I've wanted something like this for ages so couldn't resist considering they were both reduced to £2 (as Internacionale have gone into administration!) I wasn't a huge fan of the black flowers on the bun ring, I'd have preferred something a bit more summery but for £2 I can't really complain. This will be ideal for when I'm working by the beach in the summer as I imagine I'll be spending a lot of time with my hair up out of the way whilst working/on the beach/surfing with a hot surfer dude who I'm going to end up falling in love with and marrying.
I wore the scrunchie the other day so thought I'd show you what it looks like on! My mum laughed at me but I think it's reaaaaallly cute!
Of course I couldn't help wondering into their HUGE Primark. Seriously I mean HUGE, never seen a shop so big in my life! I picked up these flip flops for £1.50 and this map print beach bag for £2 because I thought they'd be ideal for the summer. The flip flops are by the surf brand MAUI who have just launched a range within Primark. I really like the MAUI clothes but they're very surfer-esque and I don't think I could pull it off so I opted for the safe option of some flip flops! I love the glittery detail on them! I also picked up this phone/money/card holder/clutch which was reduced to £1. I currently use a similar one I purchased from Primark a few months ago but it's harder like a glasses case rather than a wallet material (if that makes any sense!) but the lining has started to rip so I picked up this one as a cheap impulse buy whilst I was queueing!
I picked up two items of clothing, this pale green flecked boyfriend fit tshirt and this gorgeous floral cami which I adore so much that I put it on as soon as I got home! These were both £4 and I've already worn them enough to justify the £4 and I only got them a week ago! I finally feel excited for summer:))

Primark Haul - February 2014

It's been ages since I bought anything from Primark, I've been trying my best (but failing) to limit my spending so didn't dare set foot in there but I got some real bargains the other day! :)
Red long sleeve skater dress £2 | Burgundy disco pants £3 | Disney t-shirt £6
I love these £5 dresses and although this bright red isn't a colour I'd normally go for, it was reduced to £2!!!! How could I not?! They also had a bright green one reduced to £2 but that was just a little too daring for me!
I was uming and ahing over whether to get these leggings as they are quite tight fitting (I probably needed a size bigger) and they're also a burgundy colour so I'm not sure where/how I'd actually wear them. I'd probably pair them with a white or black oversized t-shirt but I have a feeling these may just sit in my wardrobe :( Even so, they were £3 which is a bargain!
I fell in love with the section of boyfriend fit, rolled sleeve Disney t-shirts they had and so I picked up this "Take me to Neverland" Peter Pan one for £6 which was my most expensive purchase of the day. I've already worn this loads so it was definitely worth the £6 price tag!

This is a bit of an unusual purchase for me, I don't own a hat full stop never mind one of these bad boys! Lets be honest, I totally cannot pull these kind of hats off BUT I've always wanted one and I really liked this leopard print one and it was reduced to only £1! Definitely worth £1, even if I do just sit in it at home feeling cool.

I love that it's got the leopard print underneath too!

OMGOMGOMG OK, I am way too excited about these jelly shoes!! These have been all over tumblr and so I had already decided I needed to own some for this summer and I was hoping they'd have some in Primark so I was extremely happy when I saw these bad boys! They had them in hot pink, clear and glittery and black. I wanted them all of course and probably should have gone for the clear or black because they'd go with everything but I wasn't seeing sense at the time and just felt like a little girl again! These were only £4, which I think is SUCH a good price considering they're being sold everywhere at the moment for so much more!
I also picked up a pair of pants, as I do every time I go into Primark.
These were only 50p and whilst I'm not really sure why anyone would want pants that say "it's complicated" on (surely that would scare the poor guy undressing you off?), I thought they were quite sweet and "it's complicated" really does some up my life at the moment!

I'm sure many of you have heard about the new PS beauty range in Primark. I've read a few really good reviews and I've had Primark make-up before and been impressed so I couldn't help picking up a few bits. From left to right I got a lip gloss (£1.50), kohl eye crayon (£1.50), pack of two kohl eyeliners and a sharpener (£1) and an eyebrow pencil (£1). These prices are amazing and so far I've been really impressed by the products I've used but I won't say too much because I'll be doing a review soon :)
Finally, this isn't from Primark but I picked it up on the same shopping trip so thought I'd shove it on at the end. This Topshop lip gloss was reduced to 50p in the sale so I couldn't really help myself. It goes on like a clear lip gloss so I wouldn't have paid the original price for it but for 50p, it's cute packaging sits well in the bottom of my handbag :)

I love Primark hauls so if any of you guys have been recently and have a haul up leave your links below so I can have a mooch!

Tanya Burr Lips & Nails swatches/review!

I'M BACK!
Hey guys! It's been ages but long story short, my boyfriend of two years who I've previously mentioned on here is no longer in my life. It's obviously been a difficult time and I lost all motivation to do anything (including blogging), but I'm back and have lots of posts lined up for you guys!

SO
Blogger and youtuber Tanya Burr launched her range of lip glosses and nail polishes to be sold at feelunique.com not long ago and being the ego beaver (or saddo... you decide) that I am, I ordered both a lip gloss and a nail polish the night they were made available despite being a poor student who really should be spending money on necessities only! There are 10 nail polishes in the collection at £5.99 each and 12 lip glosses at £6.99 each which is a bit on the steep end for me considering I tend to stick to the MUA section in Superdrug. However, if you're more of a MAC girl, you'd probably see these as a bargain! :) They only arrived this morning but there's a serious lack of swatches available at the mo so I thought I'd do something about that!
Tanya Burr Nail Polish 12ml - Mini Marshmellows
When I first took this out of the box I was a little disappointed as it looked more of a nude colour than the cutesy baby pink it looked online and holy crap it took me ages to unscrew the lid - I had to use rubber gloves it was on there so tight! Anyway, I was actually really presently surprised by the colour of this! It looks gorgeous on and I think I've fallen in love with it. It's already my new fave nail polish colour and I now want every single shade (which is never good!!) I can't comment on how long it lasts etc as I only put it on a few hours ago but I will update this post in a few days and let you guys know how well it's lasted :) It took 3 coats to get a good colour (see below) but I expected that anyway with the pale shade so overall I lurrrve this and want them all!
Left: one coat | Right: two coats
Three coats
Tanya Burr Lip Gloss 8ml - Exotic Island
Again, the colour of this looks pretty different in the flesh to what it does online. It looks more of a plum shade online whereas it's actually more of a pink colour. Even so, I do really like this it. The applicator is a sort of flat wand so application is easy and the colour is really pigmented for a lip gloss and wow these smell good!! Like, seriously good. I'm not actually much of a lipstick/gloss wearer but I think I'll be wearing this regularly in the near future. It seems to have stayed on well so far despite eating nearly a whole tube of pringles since putting it on so that's a pretty damn good sign! I really wish I could afford every colour of the lip glosses too, they all look really pretty shades! :(
Overall, I'm seriously impressed! I wasn't really sure what to expect but I've been pleasantly surprised by the quality and colour of the two products I bought and they've both left me wanting to buy more and whilst I wouldn't usually spend this much money on make-up (unless it was something special), I think the price is really good for what you're getting! What do you guys think? :)
